The rules when you are tagged:

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

Christine's Six Habits/facts...

  1. I will be a graduate soon with a Degree in Children's Literature and Theatre. I Love theatre because it makes teaching all the more exciting and the possibilities are endless.

  2. I finished reading Stephanie Meyer's series. Book 1 Twilight 7hrs. Book 2 New Moon 15 hrs over two week period (much slower read). Book 3 Eclipse 8hrs. I love to read.

  3. Chocolate is my favorite anything a habit I don't see kicking anytime soon. Mostly Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate is Okay but never White Chocolate.

  4. I hate clutter yet I can't let go of anything- I am an official pack rat. I have the boys ornaments and school work from when they were in preschool up until now -one is graduated and the other is in high school.

  5. My Favorite Holiday is Halloween just check out our pictures on this blog.

  6. Everyday Morning I take Max potty, then me, next check my email and blog for comments and other blogs for updates. Gee its pitiful being lonely:)

Gee tag six people if I knew six people then I wouldn't be living vicariously through everyone else's blog.

Mel, Ellie, Ashley, Sue well that's all I know.

Paul's Birthday

It has been a very exciting year for Paul. Last year we were living in Michigan and he was working for a company called Arkema by February the company was no longer and had a new name change to Taminco. In May he began looking for a new job and here we are in Texas talk about weather extremes.

Some great High lights of His 46th year in review -

ThanksGiving - W/Jones

Thankgiving we drove to Indiana to spend it with our friends Mel, Jeff and Bredan (Rylie was not here yet). We had the best time. I have lots of photos but most of them are of Brendan surprise...surprise. Paul took some not so glamorous photos of Mel and I cooking...good thing I am the publisher of this blog.

January - New Family Member

In January we bought a Cavalier King Charles we named him Maximillion or Max for short. He really has kept us busy and on our toes.

March - Pikes Peak - Colorado

Paul went to fire safety school in March and had the oportunity to see Pikes Peak. He came home with some beautiful scenery pictures and a Pikes Peak Chicken shirt for me.

June - Paul was hired by Solutia Inc. Chocolate Bayou Texas

Sam Graduated From High School Yeah!

Before Paul left for Alvin Texas - Our Oldest son Sam graduated from High School it was a long hard road but we are very proud of his accomplishments. Now if he could just get a job.

August - Reunited with His Family

Paul moved to Alvin on the 25th of June and lived with out his family until the 13th of August. What a trooper. The bliss lasted about two days then it was unpacking boxing and organizing the kitchen for it's immediate use because he was tired of eating out.

September 2, 2007 Celebrated 19th Wedding Anniversary

Although it was our anniversary I was gone helping my Mom - Paul was holding down the new house and taking care of the boys (Thanks Paul for all you do). As you know Sept was not the happy month of celebration for I lost my father. October didn't shine that much either because after returning from my dad's rememberance mass on October 19th our new washer dumped 2000 + gallons of water onto the first floor of our new home. Up until now we have been under reconstruction we are almost finished (hopefully by Christmas) but waiting on the carpet for the dining room.

Wow what a year for Paul!

All Hallow's Eve At The Shelton's

Ahoy Matie!
Halloween happens to be my favorite time of year and we go all out creating a haunted walk through for the kids in the neighborhood. Seth Christopher was Baby New Year by the end of the evening because it was too hot for his cowboy outfit.

Here is Daniel at the front entrance of our garage or Pirate cove. Notice the welcoming sight of the butler no thats Daniel on the left the butler is on the right.

When the Sun went down the lights came up. We had about 25 trick or treater's even the little ones went through as long as they had their mummies.

More Halloween pics of the inside coming soon....once the film is developed

New House

This is the breakfast area. The light is centered with the room but no table can be center under the light.

Kitchen with a Very Bright Light.

Kitchen Cabinets with Mel's help I did the space above the cabinets with white pumpkins and iron pumkins and some red and orange berries. I told Paul Fall is my Favorite so I wanted something I didn't have to change with the seasons

Living Room

This was my birthday present from Paul he surprised me and bought the two side cabinets. I thought I was just getting the TV hutch. Wow what a sweetie. Mel if you look close in the lower left corner you will see my olive tree statue. Its just to beautiful to put away till the holidays.

Decorating Tips/Ideas

Okay Mel here are the two spaces. The first is the dining room and the second is above the windows in the living room. No Decor ideas any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.
